Dublin's Morrison Hotel Hits The Market For €80m

Dublin's Morrison Hotel has officially hit the market via commercial real estate services firm CBRE with a guide price of €80 million, following a report in February that its owner, Russian businesswoman Yelena Baturina, was preparing to put the property up for sale.

Baturina purchased the 145-bedroom hotel from Nama for €22 million in 2012.

"An Unrivalled Opportunity"

The Irish Times quotes CBRE's head of hotel investment properties for the UK and Ireland, Paul Collins, as saying, "The Morrison has enjoyed tremendous trading success in recent years and presents an unrivalled opportunity to invest in a Dublin gem situated in a truly central location."
