Fitzwilliam Hotel Launches Dublin By Design

Along with a hotel-wide refurbishment due to be completed later this year, Dublin’s Fitzwilliam Hotel plans to celebrate the Irish capital in 2023 by shining a spotlight on local traders, makers and curators.

Dublin By Design

To that end, the hotel has announced Dublin by Design, a collaboration conceived and curated through a mutual love for Dublin and designed as a love letter to the city.

Small groups of up to six people are invited to book in and spend an early afternoon discovering the hidden gems of Dublin and meeting the people who make that possible before having an overnight stay in the Fitzwilliam Hotel.

Dublin by Design sees the hotel partner with stylist, writer and fashion presenter Irene O’Brien.

Guests will be greeted by O’Brien before setting off together on foot, wherein O’Brien will share her knowledge of all things locally Dublin.

The tour will include vintage store Jenny Vander, Om Diva and MoMuse, and meeting some sustainable fashion experts at a new collective – or participants can detour into another one of the hand-picked locations – and there will be time for a quick pit stop for refreshments.

After the two-and-a-half-hour tour, guests will return to the hotel for cocktails and afternoon tea.

Available Each Friday

Dublin by Design is available each Friday on request. It began on Friday 14 April 2023. Small groups of up to a maximum of six people and the package must be booked in advance. A rate is available on request, subject to availability and the size of groups.
