K Club And Dromoland Castle Offer Support And Entertainment To Irish Residents During COVID-19 Crisis

Preferred Hotels & Resorts has revealed that two of its Irish member hotels have offered to support and entertain Irish residents during the COVID-19 crisis.

K Club

Following the closure of Co. Kildare's K Club Hotel & Golf Resort due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the resort's owner, Michael Fetherston, has offered to support those involved in fighting the virus's spread, or those affected by it, by housing healthcare workers who may have been separated from their families for periods of time, or housing people with illness, in the hotel's 134 bedrooms.

Dromoland Castle

Meanwhile, to help parents entertain children while schools are closed due to the virus, Co. Clare's Dromoland Castle Hotel has teamed up with Limerick artist Una Heaton to give arts and crafts lessons on the hotel's YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/user/DromolandCastle. The first lesson, which is live now, is a tutorial on how to construct a castle using materials from around the house.
