Landmark Mayo Hotel Up for Sale

Healy's Hotel and Fishing Lodge in Pontoon, Co. Mayo has been placed on the market due to the retirement of its owner, John Dever.

Positioned in the renowned fishing area between Lough Conn and Lough Cullen, the hotel is expected to fetch around €1 million on the market, according to Mayo News.

Healy's is a seven-bedroom boutique hotel with an adjoining bar and Lough Cullen Dining Room. It is nestled in rural Co. Mayo with panoramic views and is popular for fishing tourists, hikers and golfers.

The sale is being handled by Brian Moran and Co Auctioneers, Castlebar, who describes the sale as "a chance to acquire an established successful business in an enviable location overlooking the famous fishing lakes of north Mayo."
