Lough Eske Castle’s Concierge Joins Renowned Les Clefs d’Or Organisation

Shea Kildea, concierge at Lough Eske Castle, has become a member of the exclusive Les Clefs d’Or organisation.

Les Clefs d’Or, translated as ‘the Golden Keys’, is a professional association of hotel concierges with approximately 4,000 members working in over 80 countries and 530 destinations.

‘Great Honour’

“It is a great honour for all of us to have a member of our team be part of the prestigious Les Clefs d’Or – the only member in County Donegal,” said Dónal Cox, general manager of Lough Eske Castle.

“Shea’s genuine desire and commitment to make each experience memorable, and his heartfelt connection with our guests, adds to the five-star experience at Lough Eske Castle.”

Les Clefs d’Or

Les Clefs d’Or members are an elite group of people who are easily identified by the crossed golden keys on their lapels.

Members are globally connected, committed to professional development, and driven to set new standards for guest service perfection.

Before joining Lough Eske Castle seven years ago, Kildea had worked in several five-star properties throughout Ireland and the UK.

‘Unforgettable Experience’

“I am lucky to be able to make Donegal an unforgettable experience for people from all over the world,” said Kildea.

“To become a member of this esteemed association is an honour, and I will strive to further develop my skills and knowledge in my role.”

Lough Eske Castle

The five-star Lough Eske Castle is located within 43 acres of forest woodland near the shores of Lough Eske.

It has 97 guestrooms, the Lake Lodge – a private two-bedroom residence – and the award-winning CARA Organic Beauty Spa.
