New Northern Irish Hotel Has 'Highest Bar In Ireland'

Developed by the Hastings Group and opening for business on Wednesday June 20, Belfast's new €60 million Grand Central hotel is said to have the "highest bar in Ireland".

According to The Irish Times, the new venue, which is the seventh hotel in the Hastings Group's portfolio, is now Northern Ireland's largest hotel, with a total of 300 bedrooms and 23 storeys.

Hastings hopes that the aforementioned bar, referred to as the "Observatory" cocktail lounge and located on the building's 23rd floor, will become a landmark destination in Belfast, while the venue's other key features also include the window-walled Grand Café, the Seahorse bar and restaurant, a lounge for private receptions, offices, retail units and two conference suites.
