Planning Permission Approved For New 117-Bedroom Hotel On Dublin's Dawson St.

A proposal for a new €35 million development on Dublin's Dawson Street that includes a 117-bedroom hotel has been approved by Dublin City Council.

The planning application for the project, which will also involve the redevelopment of the Royal Irish Automobile Club's private members' club, was originally submitted to the council by investment firm Miro Hotel 2 Limited last August.

"Deemed To Be Acceptable"

According to The Irish Times, the council's planner's reported stated that "the proposal is welcomed and, given the location of the site and the surrounding context, the proposed scheme is deemed to be acceptable".
