South Dublin pub Uncle Tom's Cabin has been purchased for €3 million by developer Padraic Rhatigan and financer Stewart Doyle, who are planning to redevelop the property.

The pair purchased the pub, which is located in the Dublin suburb of Dundrum, through a company called UTC Developments, which they specifically set up for the pub's acquisition, as reported by The Irish Times.

The property is already zoned for residential development.
