Gleeson's Pub In South Dublin To Add Boutique Hotel

Gleeson's pub in the Dublin suburb of Booterstown is to be extended into a boutique hotel as part of a €1.6 million investment scheme by the venue's proprietor and chairman of the Licensed Vintners Association, John Gleeson.

The Irish Times reports that the pub's existing restaurant will be reconfigured to incorporate a hotel lobby, while it is also expected that about sixteen bedrooms will be added above the existing food and beverage facilities.

Gleeson declared that final negotiations are nearing conclusion ahead of the refurbishment's commencement and it is thought that the business is likely to be rebranded to reflect its new status in the hotel sector.
