McGettigan Group Opens New Bar At Former Regency Hotel In Dublin

Following the news last week that Dublin’s Regency Hotel is being rebranded as the Bonnington, the McGettigan Group has opened a brand-new bar at the venue, dubbed McGettigan’s D9.

The bar encompasses more than 4,600 square feet and features lunch and dinner menus, with dishes such as gourmet burgers, chicken wings, nachos and flatbreads, reports DublinLive.ie.

There is a smoking area on site, and plans are in place to institute a weekly steak night, as well as a Sunday brunch menu in the near future.

As far as drinks go, McGettigan’s D9 offers signature gin and cocktail menus, and it has ten 60-inch televisions spread around the bar, so customers can enjoy sporting events while socialising.

Commenting on the bar’s opening, McGettigan’s Group CEO Dennis McGettigan said, “We are delighted to be officially opening our seventh bar in Ireland. Our bars are all about excellent food, drinks, service, entertainment and sport, and McGettigan’s Dublin 9 will be no different.”
