Boojum To Open A New Store In Dublin

Mexican burrito bar Boojum will open a new store in The Square Shopping Centre in Tallaght this Spring.

The Tallaght location will create 30 new jobs, including both part-time and full-time positions, and will be Boojum’s third out-of-town site, following on from Blanchardstown and Liffey Valley.

'The Right Move'

"When we opened Liffey Valley in October, we didn’t expect to open another Dublin store so soon, but we quickly realised that the demand was too high in the other surrounding areas to ignore,” said David Maxwell, Boojum managing director.

“We are really excited to be opening in Tallaght which is a fantastic area with a lot going on, and working with the team at The Square has been energising, so we knew this was the right move.”

Early Spring Opening

The restaurant will be situated within the previous Wow Burger unit, with an expected opening date in early Spring.

Customers will be able to enjoy sit-in, takeaway, click ‘n’ collect and delivery services.

'A Buzz'

“Boojum is hugely popular here in Dublin, and we are delighted that we can help ensure that it is easier than ever for the residents of Tallaght to get their Boojum fix,” said Freda O’Donnell of Sigma Retail Partners said.

“There is definitely a buzz around The Square ahead of the opening."

Expansion Plans

Boojum currently employs over four hundred staff to work across their fifteen stores in Belfast, Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Galway.

The company plans to expand this across the UK and Ireland in 2024.
