Café Rua Goes Gallic

At Café Rua in Castlebar next weekend the Gaelic and the Gallic will meet as the establishment holds its own French food festival.

This will incorporate tastings in its deli and a dinner menu inspired by French cuisine. There will also be offers on cookbooks, and on wines and cheeses from France.

The order of the day is French classics made with Mayo ingredients, such as Sean Kelly's bœuf bourguignon, Killary shellfish in servings of moules marinière, and local vegetables in ratatouilles.
