Cush Restaurant Opens In Ballycotton, Co. Cork

A new contemporary Irish food restaurant called Cush has opened in the Co. Cork village of Ballycotton.

The 40-seater eatery is situated in the premises formerly occupied by restaurant Pier 26, and overlooks both Ballycotton Pier and the Ballycotton lighthouse.

The restaurant's menu draws inspiration from the coastline and the seasonality of produce, and will change and evolve on a regular basis while always featuring ingredients from local suppliers.

"Lucky To Be Surrounded By Exceptional Producers"

Cush head chef Dan Geurin stated, "At Cush, we are so lucky to be surrounded by exceptional producers, and being located right on the coastline gives us instant access to a wide variety of ingredients. I like to be creative with our menus. By using our imagination and keeping our cooking style simple, we bring out the best of our hero ingredients to produce dishes that reflect our respect for our locality."

Cush Restaurant joins Cush Maritime Bar and Cush Guesthouse, which have been newly refurbished.
