Restaurant and food shop firm Fallon & Byrne has closed its outlet in the Rathmines area of Dublin.
Located in the Swan shopping centre, the 10,000 square foot food hall and restaurant was the firm's biggest outlet in the Irish capital.
Loss-Making
According to The Irish Times, Fallon & Byrne said that the Rathmines outlet was loss-making and the firm chose to act "decisively" now in order to protect the rest of its business.
Fallon & Byrne's branches on Dublin's Exchequer Street and in Dún Laoghaire are continuing to trade following the closure of the Rathmines outlet.
