Nine Dublin Restaurants Listed In Michelin Main Cities Guide

Nine Dublin-based restaurants have made the cut in the new Michelin Main Cities of Europe 2016 Restaurant Guide.

Newcomer this year is Greenhouse on Dawson Street which has been awarded one star, while those holding their place from before are the two-star Patrick Guilbaud on Upper Merrion Street; Chapter One on Parnell Square and L’Ecrivain on Baggot Street, each with one-star.

In the Bib Gourmand category for restaurants serving good food representing excellent value for money, five city restaurants are featured. These include newcomers Delahunt on Lower Camden Street and Pigeon House in Clontarf. Others retained from before are Etto on Merrion Row, Pichet on Trinity Street and The Pig’s Ear on Nassau Street.

Produced by tyre manufacturer Michelin, the guide, which is now in its 35th edition, features over 3,660 restaurants and hotels in 44 cities in 20 European countries and is available in print form and also for smartphone and tablet use.
