Well-Known Restaurant Buildings Hit The Market In Dublin
A restaurant and office building at 22 Ely Place on Dublin's south side has been placed on the market for almost €2 million.
According to The Irish Times, Savills has announced an asking price of over €1.8 million for the property, which generates a yearly rental income of €127,000.
Encompassing four stories and 455 square metres, the ground floor and basement of the Georgian-style premises have been let out to the Ely Wine Bar since 1999 for a rent of €82,000 and have room for up to 55 seated diners, as well as an additional 50 bar customers.
The office spaces that make up the building's top three storeys are occupied by Fitzpatrick Consulting, Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Abacus Accounting.
Elsewhere in the capital, a block of retail units that includes the space occupied by the Elephant & Castle restaurant, which has a long-term rental lease, in Temple Bar is being put up for sale for €11.75 million.
The block encompasses a total of ten individual restaurant and retail units at ground and basement levels which front onto Temple Bar, Bedford Row and Crampton Quay.
Gallagher's Boxty House and Café Nero are also among the current occupiers of the units in question, which generate a total annual rent of €700,000.
