Go Ahead Given For Development Of New Whiskey Distillery In Kildare

Kildare County Council has approved the development of a multimillion euro whiskey distillery and visitor centre at Ballykelly Mills, close to Monasterevin, in Co. Kildare.

The distillery is being developed by Jewelfield Ltd, which lists Bono as one of its sharesholders, according to The Irish Times.

Facility Features

When completed, the new distillery and visitor centre will extend to over 5,000 square metres, and will include reception areas, tasting rooms, an exhibition space and a roof garden.
