Grace O'Malley Irish Whiskey Brand Enters The Market

Mayo businessman Stephen Cope has teamed up with Irish marketing executive Jeff Burns and Berlin-based brand building entrepreneurs Stefan Hansen and Hendrick Melle to launch a new whiskey brand called Grace O'Malley Irish Whiskey.

Named after 16th century pirate Grace O'Malley, the brand's initial range is called the "captain's range".

There are plans to introduce a "crew range" in June and a "navigator range" later down the line.

The "crew range" will include the brand's core Grace O'Malley Irish Whiskey product.

Brand Plans

The Sunday Business Post quotes Cope as saying, "We have already begun to look at exporting in Germany, France and Spain. Future plans for the brand also include developing a distillery and visitor destination in Mayo."
