EasyCoffee To Open Up To 12 Northern Irish Branches

The Nathan Lowry-led easyCoffee chain is planning to open as many as 12 new outlets in Northern Ireland in 2019.

The Belfast Telegraph reports that the chain's arrival in Northern Ireland follows a £10 million investment in the franchise operation. There are currently eight easyCoffee outlets in England.

A spokesperson for the chain stated, "[EasyCoffee is] actively looking for an entrepreneurial franchisee and [has] several meetings lined up in the coming weeks.

"Once an agreement is in place then the sites will be confirmed. The roll-out is planned for spring 2019 and could be up to a dozen easyCoffee stores/outlets."

Vending Machines

The chain is also planning to place up to 50 vending machines in Northern Irish gyms, hotels and forecourts.

Lowry commented, "We are excited to move forward with our ambitious growth plans thanks to this significant investment. Vending is a highly profitable business driven by brand recognition.

"This investment is an endorsement that the easyCoffee brand, like its sister brand easyJet, stands for a quality product and service at a value price."
