World's Best Wines, According To Star Wine List Of The Year

On 19 June, the Star Wine List of the Year will be held for the first time on its home soil in Sweden.

Details

A jury consisting of sommeliers has now selected all the finalists from across the world, and the winners will be revealed at Hasselbacken in Stockholm.

Star Wine List of the Year is a celebration of the great wine lists in the world and the teams behind them. Over the past year, winners have been crowned in markets around the world including New York, Asia, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, the UK, and Germany. The winners of the national competitions have qualified for the international finals, which this year will be held on 19 June 19th in Stockholm - and will be streamed online on Star Wine List's Facebook page.

"It's incredibly exciting to host the finals on home soil in Sweden and see our best wine lists compete with the international elite. We have finalists from southern Sweden, Shanghai, New York City, London, Johannesburg, and Macau. The diversity is huge," said Krister Bengtsson, founder and publisher of Star Wine List.

Founded in Sweden in 2017, Star Wine List is an online guide to wine restaurants and wine bars. It is live in 36 countries.
