Deliveroo Expands Dublin Service

Premium food delivery service Deliveroo has expanded its reach from Dublin 2, 4 and 6 to Dublin 7, 8 and 9, as well as Stillorgan and Dundrum, with plans to launch in Dun Laoghaire this summer.

Launched in London in 2013 and established in Dublin early this year, Deliveroo provides delivery solutions for popular restaurants to reach consumer’s doors, working with businesses that don’t have an in-house delivery service.

Last April, the service was named as one of Forbes’ '25 Billion-Dollar Start-ups', followed by winning best E-Commerce Start-up in Europe at the first Europas event.

Speaking on the brand's success, country manager at Deliveroo, Anis Harb said, "The demand for the Deliveroo service is testament to the fact that Irish people want quality food delivered from their favourite restaurants, and fast."

Harb added that the upcoming launch of the Deliveroo iOS app is set to make that user experience better for time-poor consumers, and explained, “By using proprietary technology, its [Deliveroo] bring the meals of restaurants that customers love to their door in 32 minutes on average.”
