Dublin Airport's September Passenger Traffic Declined By 87% Year-On-Year

The number of people that passed through Dublin Airport declined 87% year-on-year in September to just over 392,000 due to the continuing COVID-19 crisis.

Europe, UK And North America Traffic

Passenger volumes to and from continental Europe fell by 84% to just over 274,000 people while UK traffic declined by 89% to 87,000 passengers, and passenger volumes to and from North America decreased by 95% to just over 22,000 passengers.

Other International And Domestic Traffic

Meanwhile, other international passenger traffic to and from the Middle East fell by 93% to just over 5,900 passengers, and the number of people who travelled on domestic routes last month decreased by 72% to just over 2,600.

First Nine Months

The number of people that passed through Dublin Airport during the first nine months of 2020 declined 74% year-on-year to just over 6.6 million passengers.
