Fired Up Pizza has announced the opening of its newest location, in Cornelscourt, and the fifth anniversary of its very first venue, in Goatstown.
The new Cornelscourt restaurant, located at Bray Road, Cornelscourt, in Dublin 18, officially opened its doors on 9 May.
“We’re incredibly proud to open our newest Fired Up Pizza location in Cornelscourt,” said Bill Chawke, founder.
“It’s a fantastic milestone for the team, and a community we’ve been wanting to be part of for a long time. We’re excited to bring our signature wood-fired pizzas to a new neighbourhood and continue growing the Fired Up brand!”
This month, Fired Up Pizza is also celebrating the fifth birthday of its very first venue, in Goatstown. The brand was launched by Chawke and a local team at the height of the pandemic, in 2020.
Since then, Fired Up Pizza has expanded to Donnybrook, Rathfarnham, and now Cornelscourt. The brand has also earned national recognition, most recently as a finalist for Regional Restaurant of the Year in the upcoming Deliveroo Awards.
“Reaching five years in business is both humbling and energising,” said Chawke. “What started out as a Covid baby with a domestic pizza oven in a repurposed shipping container in Goatstown has grown into something we wouldn’t have imagined possible back in 2020. It’s been an amazing journey, filled with learning, resilience, and a huge amount of passion from our team and customers alike.”
To mark the occasion, Fired Up Pizza will be offering a selection of its signature wood-fired pizzas for just €5, available in store across all four venues for one day only, Thursday 15 May, until stocks last.
“We wouldn’t be where we are without the incredible support from our local communities,” said Chawke.
“Each location has shaped Fired Up in its own way, and Cornelscourt is no different. We’re really looking forward to getting to know the area, becoming a go-to for great pizza, and playing an active part in the community.”
