Ryanair has released its traffic statistics for April, revealing that the company's total traffic declined 99.6% to 0.04 million customers from 13.5 million in April of 2019 as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

Ryanair And Laudamotion Specific Numbers

Ryanair specific traffic declined 99.6% from 13 million in April of last year to 0.04 million in April of 2020, while Laudamotion passenger numbers declined 100% to zero, and the company's rolling annual traffic declined 6% to 135.1 million.

Ryanair operated over 600 scheduled flights in April including a number of rescue and medical flights on behalf of various EU governments.

The airline had budgeted 75,501 flights for April, and, due to multiple EU government flight bans and restrictions, it expects to carry minimal traffic during the months of May and June as well.
