Brehon Hotel & Anú Spa Appoints Neil Grant As General Manager

The Brehon Hotel & Spa has announced the appointment of Neil Grant as its new general manager.

Grant has a career spanning over 20 years in the hospitality industry.

“I am so excited to join the beautiful Brehon Hotel and to be a part of such a great team,” he said.

Grant was part of the team that upgraded the Celtic Ross Hotel in County Cork from a three- to a four-star property.

He has also held senior roles at establishments such as Ashford Castle, County Mayo, and Cameron House, on Loch Lomond, Scotland.

In the past, Grant served as chairman at the IHF Cork Branch.

‘Exciting Time’

“It is such an exciting time to join the Brehon, as we are on the cusp of unveiling our new Heritage Collection luxury bedrooms, and there are many other exciting developments in the pipeline,” said Grant.

The Brehon Hotel & Spa, formerly part of the Gleneagle Group, has been operating as an independent, family-run establishment since January 2021.

The hotel is situated along Muckross Road, adjacent to Killarney National Park.

Great Place to Work®

The Brehon recently celebrated its recognition as a Great Place to Work®, an initiative that rewards performance management, talent attraction and retention, productivity, collaboration and innovation.

The award-winning Anú Spa at the Brehon is well known for its vitality pool, hot and cold spa, tropical rain showers, herb sauna, steam room, ice feature, and kubledusche (a bucket that contains cold water, with a rope attached to it).

Brehon Suite

Last September, the hotel announced the refurbishment of its signature Brehon Suite.

The suite underwent significant upgrades, to make it more suitable for various events. It now caters for large corporate meetings, conferences and weddings.
