The site is located within the Michael Street and Wolfe Tone Street area, and is being sold via joint agents CBRE and Bagnall Doyle MacMahon. It is 0.27 hectares, or 66 acres, in size, and includes Kilkenny's former Ormonde Tourist Hostel, as reported by The Irish Independent.

Feasibility Study

A feasibility study carried out by James Mitchell Architects and Brock McClure Planning Consultants indicates that a 106-bedroom hotel with conference and banqueting facilities could potentially be developed on the site.
