Airbnb has revealed that there was a considerable surge in the number of people who availed of its services in Belfast during the twelve months to June 2018, with approximately 230,000 guests opting to stay at Airbnb accommodation in the city during the period.
As reported by The Belfast Telegraph, the above figure represents a 70% rise from the 132,000 people who chose to stay at Airbnb accommodation in Belfast the previous year.
An Economic Boost
The 230,000 individuals who availed of Airbnb's services in Belfast during the year that ended in June 2018 generated approximately £68 million for the city's economy, according to Airbnb.
