Plans Submitted For 39-Bedroom Dame Street Hotel

It's being reported that a planning application has been submitted to Dublin City Council to open a new hotel at the location currently occupied by Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe on Dame Street.

According to dublinlive.ie, the council was presented with a proposal on September 15 for the development of a 39-bedroom hotel on the site encompassing 59 to 61 Dame Street and 1/2 Eustace Street.

If approved, the venue would be six stories high with a bar and restaurant. The plans also propose an extension of the properties' rooftops to accommodate six of the hotels bedrooms. The application is open for observations until October 19.
