Michael Smurfit has completed the sale of Co. Kildare's K Club Hotel & Golf Resort to TLC Nursing Home Group operator Michael Fetherston.
It is believed that the property was sold for figure that was between €65 million and €70 million.

The Irish Times quotes Smurfit as saying, "The completion of the sale of The K Club represents the end of an era for me and my family. I extend my sincere gratitude to the K Club team and its members for their loyalty and support over many years."
