US investment fund Apollo Global Management has agreed to purchase Irish hotel group Tifco for a figure thought to be between €500 million and €600 million.
The Irish Examiner reports that while the terms of the deal have not been revealed, notice of the deal has been filed with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, which is required to give the deal its approval.
Tifco currently operates more than 20 hotels in Ireland, including the Crowne Plazas at Dublin Airport, Blanchardstown and Dundalk, the Hilton in Kilmainham and the Holiday Inn Express Dublin Airport, as well as an assortment of non-branded venues.
