The Roundy bar of Castle Street in Cork City will be sold via auction by digital property marketplace firm BidX1 on Friday March 19.

The property's listing on BidX1's website states that it is a "well-known prime city centre investment opportunity" that is "arranged over ground and first floor", and has "total floor area extending to approximately 150.93 sq. m (1,624.6 sq. ft)" and a "seven day publicans license", and that it is "let to an individual t/a The Roundy House", with a lease that expires in 2026 and a "current passing rent [of] €67,600 per annum".

The listing also states, "The property is arranged over ground and first floor to provide a high profile corner licenses premises. Internally, the property is of traditional design incorporating bar and keg room on the ground floor with function room, restrooms and bottle stores on the first floor."

The listing adds, "The entire property is at present let to an individual t/a The Roundy House for a term of 20 years from 31.05.2006 at a contractual rent of €67,600 per annum. The lease provides for five yearly rent reviews with the next rent review due in May 2021."
