PwC Reveals Belfast Has The Fourth Highest Hotel Room Rates In The UK

According to the latest PwC UK Hotels Forecast Update, Belfast has the fourth most most expensive hotel room rates in the UK, with an overnight stay in the city averaging a little under £80 (€93).

Belfast comes in behind London, Edinburgh and Brighton, which PwC found have the most, second most and third most expensive room rates, respectively, in the UK.

Occupancy Rate

PwC's update also revealed that Belfast's occupancy rate rose 15.5% during the twelve months between December 2017 and December 2018, making it the city with the highest occupancy rate during the period out of the 22 UK cities reviewed by PwC.

RevPAR

Meanwhile, PwC reported that revenue per available room (RevPAR) decreased 6.3% to £60.93 in Belfast during the twelve months. However, this figure was still above the UK regional average of £55.46.
