The Strangford Lough-adjacent Harrisons restaurant of Greyabbey, Co. Down, has completed a £130,000 extension project.

According to The Belfast Telegraph, the venue's revamp was supported by Ulster Bank and involved the addition of a 55-seat dining room and function space to the premises.

Strong Growth

Harrisons co-owner Helen Harrison commented, "We have witnessed strong growth year-on-year and were operating at full capacity, so expansion was necessary to open up new avenues to grow the business... it was equally important that we built upon our existing unique selling propositions and commitment to the area to accommodate demand.

"A surge in popularity for afternoon teas and the need for quality and affordable function space was evident.

"Being situated on a family farm meant we had the room to expand our premises."
