Healthy Fast Food Chain Leon To Open Outlet In Dublin's Temple Bar

Following the news that it plans to open a flagship restaurant in Dublin's Dundrum Town Centre, UK healthy fast food chain Leon has now announced that it is opening its first Irish outlet in the former Eager Beaver store on Crown Alley in Dublin's Temple Bar in May of 2019.

Leon plans to open a total of 20 outlets in Ireland by 2023. According to the company, these restaurant openings will create employment opportunities for up to 600 people.

"Excited" To Expand Into Ireland

The people responsible for bringing Leon to Ireland are Stuart Fitzgerald, Alan O’Neill and Brian McIntyre. Speaking about the Temple Bar restaurant, Fitzgerald said, "We are absolutely delighted to finally reveal that Ireland’s first Leon will be located at the former Eager Beaver shop in Temple Bar. Temple Bar is a melting pot of culture, creativity and individuality, which makes it the perfect setting for Leon’s Irish launch. We are very proud to be able to say we will be making such a positive impact on the Irish economy over the next five years with the creation of 600 jobs and using so many Irish suppliers in our various locations across the country. We are so excited to be bringing a unique brand like Leon to Ireland."

The launch of Leon's Temple Bar branch will be followed by the opening of its Dundrum outlet later this year.
