New Starbucks To Open In Belfast City

Starbucks is taking over a 2,500 square foot site at Moneda House at Wellington Place in Belfast in a bid to cater for the large amount of office buildings and rising student population in the area.

According to The Belfast Telegraph, Moneda House recently underwent a £5 million refurbishment that was carried out by design and construction company McAleer & Rushe to create 17,000 square foot of office accommodation on the property's upper floors.

Commenting on the development, Jonny McKinney of McAleer & Rushe said, "Moneda House is an exciting development which has received significant market interest to date. The property is in an exceptional location within a two-minute walk to Belfast City Hall, providing cutting edge contemporary retail and very high quality office accommodation in Belfast city centre, which is currently in short supply."
