Hotelsinone Launches CSR Partnership With Cystic Fibrosis Ireland

Irish online loyalty marketing company Hotelsinone, which operates hotel booking systems for Irish and international brands, has announced the launch of a corporate social responsibility partnership programme with Cystic Fibrosis Ireland (CFI), the national charity for people living with cystic fibrosis in Ireland.

Visitors to any of the 12 Hotelsinone websites will be able to donate to the national charity while booking their accommodation, supporting the charities member services, research and advocacy programmes.

The partnership between the two national organisations aims to build awareness of CF, support CFI in member, advocacy and research programmes, and to assist with fundraising by utilising the reach of Hotelsinone's 12 consumer-facing hotel booking websites.

Commenting on the new partnership initiative, Ernie Mooney, owner and CEO at Hotelsinone, said, "As the proud grandfather of two beautiful children who have CF, I've been conscious since their birth of the amazing support CFI gives to people with cystic fibrosis and their families, as they face the challenges that this rare genetic condition brings,” Mr Mooney states.

"I'm delighted to have the opportunity, through my company, to help raise awareness of the condition and support CFI in their fundraising to further advance the advocacy and research programmes and their unstinting support for the CF community."

Commenting on the new partnership initiative, Philip Watt, CEO, CFI, said, "We wish to thank Hotelsinone for their generous support of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland. Ireland has among the highest incidence of CF in the world and the funding raised will play an important role in helping to further improve CF services in Ireland."
