Dublin Airport On Track To Handle 30m Passengers In 2018

New data released by the European arm of Airports Council International has revealed that Dublin Airport was the 14th busiest airport in Europe in July, handling over 3.3 million passengers.

As reported by The Irish Independent, during the twelve months ending in July 2018, Dublin Airport was also the 14th busiest airport in Europe, handling 18 million passengers over the year while approximately 21.2 million travellers passed through the airport during the twelve months ending in August, representing a 6% rise on passenger numbers during the same period a year earlier.

Busiest August Ever

Additionally, Dublin Airport announced last week that it experienced its busiest August ever this year, having handled 3.2 million passengers during the month.

These latest statistics for the airport indicate that it is on track to handle in excess of 30 million passengers over the course of 2018.
