A Record 3.2m Travellers Passed Through Dublin Airport In June

More than 3.2 million passengers travelled through Dublin Airport in June, which was a 4% increase on the figure for the same month last year and made the month the busiest June in the airport's 79 year history.

Continental Europe

The number of passengers that travelled to and from continental Europe last month grew by 5%, with more than 1.7 million passengers going to and coming from European destinations.

UK And North America

UK traffic increased by 1% compared to June of 2018, with almost 879,000 passengers journeying to and from the UK, and transatlantic traffic increased by 5%, with over 469,000 passengers travelling to and from North America.

Other International Traffic

Other international traffic, which includes flights to and from the Middle East, North Africa and the Asia Pacific region, grew by 4%, with 95,000 passengers travelling to and from these destinations last month.

Domestic Flights

Meanwhile, the number of passengers who took trips to and from Dublin Airport on domestic flights declined by 19% to just over 9,500.
