Commercial property and investment management services firm JLL has said it expects Irish hotel transaction volumes for the past 12 months to reach €750 million.
As reported by The Irish Independent, this figures represents a 36% rise on the €550 million figure recorded in 2017.
The largest portfolio sale in Ireland last year involved the Tifco Hotel Group, which was purchased for approximately €350 million by Apollo Global Management in what was Ireland's most-valuable hotel transaction ever.
Single Asset Transactions
Meanwhile, single asset transactions in Dublin included the sales of the Hilton Dublin Airport and Ibis Dublin Red Cow, while the most valuable provincial hotel sale in Ireland in 2018 was the purchase of Co. Kerry's five-star Sheen Falls Lodge hotel for €17 million by Singaporean businessmen Dr. Stanley Quek and Peng Loh.
