Guinness Storehouse Named Best Event Caterer For 2016

Seasons at the Guinness Storehouse has been named Best Event Caterer at the 2016 Event Industry Awards.

Seasons is part of the hospitality division for Aramark, which has been providing catering for the Guinness Storehouse since 2000.

The Storehouse, which had recently undergone a major refurbishment of its visitor catering offering, is known for its Arthurs Bar and flagship restaurant 1837 Bar & Brasserie. The former serves a wide range of of beers with a casual food menu, including dishes such as pulled pork baps and Guinness burgers. While the 1837 Bar & Brasserie, which overlooks the Dublin skyline, serves dishes such as bacon and cabbage croquettes and Gubbeen chorizo flatbreads from its open kitchen.

Discussing the win, Paul Carty, Managing Director, Guinness Storehouse said: "Each year we welcome almost 1.5 million visitors and in 2015 we had the honour of being named Europe’s leading tourist attraction at the World Travel Awards. This success is thanks to a unique visitor experience which also includes a superior food and beverage offering that we’ve worked long and hard with Aramark to develop."
