New And Returning Air Services Announced For Island-Of-Ireland Airports

A number of new and returning air services have been announced for airports on the island of Ireland.

Cork Airport

While celebrating 35 years of operating at Cork Airport, Ryanair announced that it will extend six summer services from the airport into the winter: Faro (four times weekly), Milan Bergamo (twice weekly), Bordeaux (twice weekly), Venice (twice weekly), Pisa (twice weekly) and Valencia (twice weekly).

Belfast City Airport

According to a statement published on BelfastCityAirport.com, new Emerald Airlines-operated Aer Lingus Regional services from Belfast City Airport to Cardiff and Southampton have been launched.

Dublin Airport

According to statement published on MediaCentre.AerLingus.com, Aer Lingus has recommenced its direct transatlantic service from Dublin Airport to Seattle, Washington, for the first time since March 2020, with five flights weekly.

Belfast International Airport

According to a statement published on Corporate.Ryanair.com, Ryanair will reopen its base at Belfast International Airport in the summer of 2023, and Ryanair will initially operate 12 routes from Belfast International, and more than 115 weekly flights, including to destinations such as Alicante, Faro, Barcelona Girona, Malaga, East Midlands, Edinburgh, London Stansted, Manchester, Milan Bergamo and Paris Beauvais.
