Boojum Opens Outlet In Dublin Suburb Of Blanchardstown

Burrito bar chain Boojum has opened an outlet in the Dublin suburb of Blanchardstown.

Details

Boojum stated, "Burrito fans of Blanch, the day you've been waiting for has finally arrived... Ireland's original and best-loved burrito bar Boojum has officially opened its doors in Blanchardstown!

"Situated in the same block as Krispy Kreme in Blanchardstown Centre, the brand-new 1,800 sq ft restaurant is in a prime location to bring live out loud food to D15 for the first time without the need to venture into the city centre for their much-loved burritos, bowls and tacos.

"David Maxwell, Boojum's Managing Director, said, 'Blanchardstown has been a project years in the making and by far been the number one requested area in the whole of Ireland for us to open up in, so we’re delighted to now say that Boojum Blanch is ready for business.'

"To mark the opening of the brand-new Blanchardstown store, Boojum will also be donating 200 free meals to the Peter McVerry Trust charity, a national housing and homeless charity committed to tackling homelessness, drug misuse and social disadvantage.

"David Maxwell said, 'The Peter McVerry Trust is a very worthy organisation that does amazing work for people in the Blanchardstown area, and across Ireland, providing essential accommodation and support services to younger people and vulnerable adults, offering pathways out of homelessness, so we're delighted to partner with them and make a difference, providing meals to those in need.'

"For burrito lovers unable to make it directly to store in Blanchardstown, do not worry! Boojum has partnered with Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats in the area to ensure every household and business within a 5km radius can order live out loud food directly to their doorstep via contactless delivery.

"The Blanch store will also be the very first Boojum to trial a dedicated service line expressly for delivery orders, which will dramatically speed up the time it takes for home deliveries to be fulfilled.

"David Maxwell said, 'Demand for home delivery burritos has boomed across Ireland in the past 18 months, and we expect Blanchardstown to be a top performing delivery area for Boojum, hence the new store design.

"'Over the last 6 weeks, we have built a really amazing team of 35 people led by the talented Aimee McMullan. We are a business that is obsessed with great food and customer service. We thrive on energy, diversity and can’t wait to welcome everyone to our new Blanchardstown store.'"

Additional Information

Boojum added, "Established in 2007, Boojum hit the food scene in Ireland as one of the most exciting and disruptive concepts for a long time. What started as a tiny outlet in Belfast has grown to become Ireland's best-loved Mexican-inspired restaurant chain, operating in five cities across the island and employing more than 400 staff members.

"Boojum Blanchardstown is situated at Unit 452, Blanchardstown Centre, just across the road from the Odeon cinema and a few doors up from Krispy Kreme."
